Data Protection Rights for EU and California Residents

TruClaimX, operated by TrueMile LLC, is committed to protecting the privacy of all users and to maintaining transparency in how personal data is collected, processed, and stored. This page outlines the specific rights available to residents of the European Union under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and to residents of California under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).

TruClaimX does not sell personal data to third parties.

GDPR Rights (EU Residents)

If you are a resident of the European Economic Area (EEA), you are entitled to the following rights under the GDPR:

  • Right to Rectification: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data.

CCPA Rights (California Residents)

If you are a resident of California, you are entitled to the following rights under the CCPA:

  • Right to Know: Request information about the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected, the sources, the business purposes, and the categories of third parties with whom we share it.
  • Right to Delete: Request deletion of personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions.
  • Right to Opt-Out of Sale: TruClaimX does not sell personal data; therefore, no opt-out mechanism is required at this time.
  • Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA rights.

Data Requests

To exercise any of the rights described above, submit a verified request by contacting us at the email address provided below. We may require identity verification before processing your request.

We will acknowledge receipt and respond within 30 days. In certain cases, a response may take up to 45 days, in which case we will notify you of the extension and the reason for the delay.

Authorized Agents

You may designate an authorized agent to submit a data request on your behalf. Authorized agents must provide written authorization signed by you and may be required to verify their own identity. We reserve the right to deny requests from agents who cannot adequately demonstrate authorization.
